Stazzema extends entirely to hilly and mountainous altitudes, being in fact in the Apuan Alps. It has a minimum altitude of 107 m a.s.l. and a maximum altitude of 1,858 m a.s.l. of Monte Pania della Croce. Seravezza is part of historic Versilia, together with the municipalities of Forte dei Marmi, Stazzema and Pietrasanta.
